We've All Been There
As two best friends living just a block apart in Manhattan's Lower East Side, we're highly social people who believe our community is what makes New York special. Yet, we felt a constant friction: everyone wants an excuse to see each other, but nobody wants to be the one to plan it.
Our phones were filled with endless Google Maps pins, Infatuation lists that grew too long to be useful, and group chats stuck on "what should we do?" We realized that in our quest for the "perfect" curated experience, we were getting stuck in the planning trap.
"What are we doing this weekend?"
"I don't know, what do you want to do?"
"I'm down for anything"

Mindara started as a simple question: what if planning could be as fun as the experience itself? We wanted to build something that felt less like a tool and more like a friend who just gets it. It’s for anyone who believes the best moments are the ones spent sharing real-life experiences, not scrolling through options on a screen.
It’s a starting point for new memories - designed to get you out into the world and connecting with the people, places, and things (hint: our logo) that matter.
